Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from Liann’s Cookie Co, including cookie orders, DIY cookie decorating kits and cookie decorating classes.
By placing an order or booking a class with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Liann’s Cookie Co
Liann’s Cookie Co is a small home bakery business based in West Berkshire, England.
Business name: Liann’s Cookie Co
Email: liannscookieco@gmail.com
2. Products and availability
We offer decorated sugar cookies, DIY cookie decorating kits and cookie decorating classes.
All products are made by hand. Because of this, there may be small variations in colour, decoration, shape or finish between products and photographs.
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that product photographs and descriptions on our website accurately represent the products. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device.
Our products and classes may be offered in limited quantities. We reserve the right to change availability, products, designs or class dates where reasonably necessary.
3. Placing an order
When placing an order, you are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate, including your name, email address, delivery address and any collection information.
Once you have placed an order, you will receive an order confirmation.
Your order is accepted when we confirm it to you. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you and provide a refund for any payment already made.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are displayed on the relevant product or class page at the time of purchase.
The total price, including any applicable delivery or postage charges, will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Payment must be made through the payment methods available on our website.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors. If an obvious pricing error has resulted in an order being placed, we will contact you before fulfilling the order.
5. Collection
Where collection is offered, your order will be available for collection on the date and within the collection arrangements stated at the time of purchase.
Collection details and any relevant instructions will be provided in your order confirmation.
Please collect your order within the agreed collection period.
If you are unable to collect your order as arranged, please contact us as soon as possible.
6. Postal orders and delivery
Where postal delivery is offered, your order will be packaged appropriately for posting.
Delivery options, postage costs and expected delivery timeframes will be displayed before you complete your order.
Once an order has been dispatched, delivery is carried out by the relevant postal or delivery provider. We cannot guarantee an exact delivery time.
If your order is delayed, damaged or appears to have been lost in transit, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can investigate the issue.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. We cannot be responsible for delays or failed delivery resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
7. Food products and storage
Our cookies and DIY kits are food products and should be stored according to the storage instructions provided with your order.
Please check the product information and packaging for relevant storage and use-by information.
Once an order has been delivered or collected, the customer is responsible for storing the product appropriately.
For postal orders, customers should ensure that someone is available to receive the package where necessary.
8. Allergens and dietary information
Allergen information is provided for our products before purchase and with the product where required.
Customers are responsible for checking the allergen information before placing an order and before consuming our products.
If you have an allergy or food intolerance, please contact us before ordering if you require clarification about ingredients or potential allergen cross-contact.
Although we take reasonable precautions to prevent cross-contamination, our products are made in a kitchen where other ingredients and allergens may be present.
We cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens unless we have specifically stated otherwise.
9. DIY cookie decorating kits
DIY kits may contain cookies, icing bags and other decorating materials as described on the relevant product page.
The contents of a kit may vary slightly where necessary, provided that the overall product remains substantially as described.
Icing bags should be stored according to the instructions provided with the kit.
DIY kits are intended to be used as described in the accompanying instructions.
Children should be supervised by a responsible adult when using a DIY kit where appropriate.
10. Custom and personalised orders
Where we agree to create a custom or personalised order, the details of the design, quantity, price and collection or delivery arrangements will be agreed with the customer before production begins.
Because personalised or custom-made products are made specifically for the customer, they may not have the same cancellation rights as standard products.
We will confirm any specific cancellation arrangements for custom orders before production begins.
11. Cancellations and refunds for food orders
Because our products are food products and may be made specifically for a particular collection or delivery date, cancellation rights may differ depending on the type of product and when the cancellation is requested.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, we will honour that right.
Where a product is exempt from the statutory cancellation right because it is perishable or personalised/custom-made, cancellation may not be available once preparation or production has begun.
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at: liannscookieco@gmail.com
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights, including your rights in relation to goods that are faulty, unsafe, not as described or otherwise do not meet the requirements of consumer law.
12. Problems with an order
We want you to be happy with your order.
If your order arrives damaged, is incorrect, or you believe there is a problem with the product, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at: liannscookieco@gmail.com
Please provide your order details and, where relevant, photographs showing the issue.
We will assess the problem and, where appropriate, offer a suitable remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
13. Cookie decorating classes
Class places are confirmed once payment has been successfully received.
The class date, time, location, age guidance, number of participants and other relevant details will be displayed on the booking page.
Please arrive in sufficient time for the class to begin promptly.
14. Class cancellations and transfers
If you are unable to attend a class, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where reasonable notice is provided, we may, at our discretion, allow a booking to be transferred to another person or another class date where a suitable alternative is available.
Because class places are limited and are reserved specifically for the customer, refunds or transfers may not always be possible, particularly where cancellation occurs close to the class date.
Any specific cancellation deadline or refund arrangement applying to a particular class will be clearly stated on the relevant booking page.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any cancellation rights that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Class attendance and children
Where a class is described as a family class, children must be accompanied by the required adult stated on the relevant booking page.
Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising children attending the class where appropriate.
Participants must follow reasonable instructions given during the class, particularly those relating to food safety, equipment and use of the venue.
Liann’s Cookie Co reserves the right to ask a participant to leave a class if their behaviour creates a significant risk to themselves or others, or seriously disrupts the class.
16. Photography and filming at classes
Photographs and short videos may be taken during Liann’s Cookie Co classes for use on our website, social media and promotional materials.
Photography permission will be requested separately and is optional.
If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos used by Liann’s Cookie Co, you can let us know when booking or before the class.
Where a child is attending, photography permission will be obtained from their parent or legal guardian where appropriate.
Refusing photography permission will not affect your ability to attend a class.

17. Changes or cancellation by Liann’s Cookie Co
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to a product, class or event where necessary.
If we need to cancel a class or are unable to fulfil an order, we will contact affected customers as soon as reasonably possible.
Where we cancel a paid order or class and no suitable alternative is agreed, we will provide an appropriate refund.
18. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
In particular, nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits your statutory consumer rights or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
19. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, photographs, designs, logos, text and other content created for Liann’s Cookie Co remain the property of Liann’s Cookie Co or the relevant rights holder.
You may not reproduce, copy or commercially use our branding, designs or website content without permission.
20. Website information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information on our website is accurate and up to date.
However, we may occasionally need to correct errors or update information, including product availability, prices, descriptions or class details.
21. Privacy
Personal information provided to us when placing an order, booking a class or contacting us will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Please see our Privacy Policy for further information about how we collect, use and protect personal information.
22. Complaints

By placing an order or booking a class after an updated version has been published, you agree to the updated Terms & Conditions.
